RESEARCH SUB-COMMITTEE 

 

The Research Sub-Committee of Krishna Chandra College (KCC) serves as a vital organ within the institution, dedicated to fostering a culture of academic inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence. Founded on the principles of promoting research and intellectual engagement among faculty and students, the committee plays a pivotal role in advancing the academic mission of KCC.

 

Purpose and Objectives:

  • The primary aim of the Research Sub-Committee is to facilitate, support, and coordinate research activities across various disciplines within the college.
  • It strives to create an environment conducive to scholarly endeavors, encouraging faculty members and students to undertake research projects that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and address pertinent societal issues.
  • The committee aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and networking among researchers both within and outside the college.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating research proposal submissions and providing guidance to faculty and students on various aspects of research design, methodology, and ethics.
  • Reviewing research proposals to ensure adherence to academic standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Allocating resources and funding to approved research projects, including grants, equipment, and access to research facilities.
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences to promote research dissemination and scholarly exchange.
  • Encouraging publication of research findings in reputable journals and other academic platforms.
  • Establishing collaborations with other academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners to enhance research opportunities and outcomes.

 

Support for Students and Faculty:

  • The Research Sub-Committee provides guidance and support to undergraduate students undertaking research projects as part of their academic curriculum.
  • The committee may also facilitate opportunities for students to present their research at conferences or publish their work in academic journals, thereby nurturing a culture of academic excellence and innovation among the student body.
  • The Research Sub-Committee provides guidance and support to faculty member for research projects, Seminar Presentation etc.
